Audrey Bastian, MA lived in Japan for more than five years. She first got involved in interpreting through a mentorship program through the now current president of the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf, Jonathan Webb. Later she received her master’s degree in International Law and World Order from the University of Reading in the UK and her bachelor’s degree in History with a minor in Arabic from Brigham Young University. She publishes regularly on Asia and Middle Eastern topics and is a member of the Association for Asian Studies and the American Historical Association. Audrey interprets in American Sign Language, Arabic (spoken), Mandarin (spoken), and English. She frequently interprets in international settings, with international clients and content in the US and abroad including: Jerusalem, London, Bangkok and Taipei.
