Audrey Bastian, MA, NIC, partially grew up in Japan for more than five years where she first learned to gesture to facilitate communication. Later she received her master’s degree in International Law and World Order from the University of Reading in the UK and her bachelor’s degree in History with a minor in Arabic from Brigham Young University. She publishes regularly on Asia and Middle Eastern topics and is a member of the Association for Asian Studies and the American Historical Association. Audrey interprets in American Sign Language, Arabic (spoken), Mandarin (spoken), and English. She frequently interprets in international settings, with international clients and content in the US and abroad including: Jerusalem, London, Bangkok, and Taipei. She works extensively with countries across the globe virtually.
