Tosawan Malabuppha grew up in Bangkok, Thailand. She traveled to the United States to go to high school and college at a deaf school where she learned American Sign Language and English. She now lives back in Bangkok where she is a research assistant for an American writer on a narrative history book project centering on Thailand in the 1850s. She liaisons with the deaf community and schedules for Interpreting Sign: World. She also takes care of a beautiful blue Forpus named Skye Monkie.
